You’ll develop practical, hands-on skills for surfaces including vinyl, timber, tile, concrete, and specialty flooring. The programme also covers the principles of effective floor cleaning, how to choose the right products for each surface, the correct way to use and maintain equipment, and proven techniques for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing. The course also helps you spot common floor issues like dirt buildup, scum, scratches, or staining, while providing you with the skills needed to achieve consistently high-quality results and protect floor surfaces from damage.

We’ll teach you efficient workflows, safe chemical handling, and the importance of regular maintenance plans that help preserve floor appearance and extend surface life.

Once you’ve completed the programme, you’ll have the core skills and confidence to provide professional hard floor care that consistently meets (and often exceeds) customer expectations.
