These programmes utilise hands-on practical training in cleaning operations, support the development of a wide range of cleaning skills and prepares people for a career in the cleaning industry.

What is the CCC Qualification?

For 2016, Master Cleaners Training Institute have introduced the Certificate in Commercial Cleaning (CCC); a training and assessment programme specifically designed to meet the commercial cleaning industry business needs in New Zealand (A Licence to Clean).

The CCC qualification includes three mandatory units and a minimum number of 6 Core Tasks designed to ensure the safety of the cleaning operatives, users of the building and the sustainability of the building.

Additional core tasks are available and cover skills including mopping, sweeping, wall washing and glass cleaning.

What do I need to do to achieve the CCC Qualification?

To be awarded CCC certification, the minimum requirement is three mandatory units, and a minimum number of 6 Core Tasks.

Further skill units can be chosen specific to the requirements of the cleaning operative and the environment they work within.

The qualification is viewed in New Zealand as a Licence to Clean by the commercial cleaning industry.
Specialized courses in Hard Floor Care, Carpet Cleaning and site-specific skills training are also offered.
